My Baby Eczema Solution

About two months ago, I was feeling a little helpless and frustrated by the fact that my child had been suffering from a bad case of baby eczema! I hated the fact that I have to sit back an watch her suffer because their isn't a cure for this disease. But like any good parent, I sought professional help and did a little research on my own on this issue. One late night on doing some research, I stumble on some life change information that allowed me to take some easy steps to treat my baby's eczema. This solution to baby eczema allowed me to relieve a lot of the stress and pain my daughter experienced with this skin condition. So if you’ve ever been discouraged like me, get ready to get over it now because I will love to share with you on what I did for my child to treat her baby eczema.

1st I Kept her skin moisturized. The key here was that I had to be consist. I set up a regime for my daughter and stuck to it. I applied moisturizing cream once in the evening and once in the morning. In the morning, I applied moisturizer after I gave her a bath. I then toweled her skin lightly so it is mostly dry but left it a little damp, and apply the moisturizer. I recommend that you use unscented moisturizer with Vitamin E, it seemed to treat my daughter's skin better.

2nd I slightly changed my daughters diet. I noticed that when she drank certain types of milk, she would often become more itchy and have more baby eczema flare ups. So my advise here is to keep track of what your child eats and see if it triggers their eczema in any way. If you can pin down the food that triggers her baby eczema, you simple eliminate that food from their diet. I also suggest that you don't underestimate the importance of diet because I noticed that certain types of food made my daughters Baby Eczema 3 or 4 times worst.

3rd I Replaced all my daughters clothes, blankets, towels, etc. that was made of rough material. The rough material that touch her skin really aggravated her baby eczema. I replace it all with the softest 100% cotton I could find. I also changed the detergent I used to wash her clothes with. My Daughter's skin was less sensitive to certain detergents. I also found that using the natural unscented detergent and softener helped a lot.

So I don't gaurentee that following what I did will work for your child but it did work for mine. If you want more information on baby eczema I highly recommend that you check out his really amazing baby eczema site!
